A fully assembled paper Rocco model

We’ve created a super cool 3D paper model of Rocco that you can build with your little one! Create your own miniature Rocco with this simple kit you can download, cut, and piece together to create a 3D character.

Supplies Needed

  • Scissors or cutting knife
  • Glue

Instructions

Step 1: Print the template above, ideally on photo or card stock paper.

Step 2: Using scissors or a cutting knife, cut out the pieces labeled HEAD, ARMS and BODY.

Step 3: With your body piece BODY, cut out the slots for the ARMS and TAIL. Score and fold along the folding lines.

Step 4: Assemble the BODY and HEAD, using glue to fasten the tabs together.

Step 5: Glue the front and back of the ARMS together.

Step 6: Cut out pieces labeled TAIL and BACK OF HEAD, along the dotted rectangles around them. Score and fold along the folding lines. Glue the two sides together. With the TAIL, make sure the tabs marked with an asterisk ( * ) are not glued together.

Step 7: Cut out the TAIL and BACK OF HEAD along the solid black line.

Step 8: Glue the BACK OF HEAD to the HEAD.

Step 9: Glue the HEAD to the BODY.

Step 10: Stick the TAIL in the slot in the BODY and glue the tabs to the inside of the BODY.

Step 11: Slide the ARMS through the slots in the BODY.
